FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY PHYSICIANS:
1. Why should I use DocWorking?
DocWorking.com is a quickly growing job board designed exclusively for Physicians. The idea behind the board is for DocWorking to become the one stop shop for physician jobs.
2.Should I participate in DocMatching on DocWorking.com?
DocMatching uses an algorithm that takes your individual search criteria into account in order to find the most relevant job opportunities for you. The system will notify you while sending your profile automatically to as many as 10 jobs that best match your criteria.
3. How does DocMatching work?
When you register for DocMatching (name, email address and specialty), you will immediately receive an email from DocWorking titled "Questionnaire." This questionnaire is designed to learn what criteria are important to you in your job search. When you return the answers via email, DocMatching will create your profile and send it to as many as 10 best matching jobs, while emailing you to let you know the matching jobs.
4. What will be included in my profile?
Your profile, which is only sent to your top 10 best job matches, includes your name, email address, phone number, best way to contact you, specialty, board certification status, medical school and graduation year, residency program and year of completion, fellowship program and year of completion (if applicable), state(s) where licensed, and yes/no regarding history of any disciplinary action, suspension and/or malpractice case(s). Your profile will also include at least one phrase explaining why you are a good match for the job opportunity, such as, "Relocating to San Diego to be closer to family," or "Interested in joining a high volume private practice group in North Carolina."
5. How does DocMatching determine my top 10* best matches?
When your questionnaire answers are received, the DocMatching system creates your profile and also incorporates any additional information you have provided about what is important to you in your search, into an algorithm that finds the 10* best suited job for you in our database. You will then receive an email listing those jobs, while the system will send your profile to each of those job listing agents.
