I am a fierce advocate of wellbeing and have been committed to the emotional wellbeing of others for over twenty-five years.

As a licensed counselor, I built an employee assistance program (EAP) for a health system. I advocate for people to get help sooner by decreasing barriers to asking for support. As an EAP director, we noticed our physicians and advanced practice providers were not reaching out for help until it was serious and licensure was jeopardized. So ten years ago, I created the LIGHT program, a physician and advanced practice provider wellbeing program that has won two national awards.

I started my coaching and consulting company, Veritee (verity means truth in Latin), three years ago and now I coach physicians, advanced practice providers, and dentists and their teams. Many of my clients are healthcare leaders: CMO, CIO, CWO, CNO, C-suite.

My true calling is coaching. I help physicians create a sustainable and fulfilling career. My approach is individualized. While I have a successful coaching process, I most enjoy focusing on the challenge in the moment such as having a difficult conversation or making a complex decision.

I offer individual executive and leadership coaching services, as well as team coaching. My typical clients are national and international nonprofits, across sectors (including the healthcare sector).

I have 30 years of overall experience, and approximately 18 years of experience in adult learning, leadership development, and coaching. The coaching approaches that I use are research- and evidence-based; I was trained in these fields among others at the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs at Syracuse University (USA), which for the last 20 years has been the top US graduate school in public administration, including its well known Executive Education program that focuses on leadership development in the public and nonprofit sectors (domestically as well as internationally).

Concerning team coaching, I was trained by Corentus, an international team coaching company that also offers professional development in team coaching. Corentus is a pioneer in the field of Team Coaching; the International Coaching Federation (ICF) consulted Corentus on minimum requirements when they developed a team coaching certification program, and Corentus’ Team Coaching Intensive requirements are more rigorous than what ICF requires. I was invited to become one of Corentus’ Core Practitioners after I graduated from the program.

I also have a solid background in gender and leadership issues; leadership behaviors that promote DEI; and virtual and hybrid team leadership skills.
