Accredited by The Joint Commission, Shands Live Oak Regional Medical Center has been meeting the healthcare needs of the residents of Live Oak, Florida, and it's surrounding communities since 1948. The hospital's 24-hour emergency department cares for an average of 1,200 patients each month and more than 14,000 patients annually. Community Description

Not far beyond Florida's north-central border along the winding Suwanee River is Live Oak, FL. Shands Live Oak is a 15-bed critical access hospital with a 12-bed emergency department and a rural health clinic.
